2002 GALLERON JAEGER MERLOT
NAPA VALLEY
This magnificent Merlot comes from the Jaeger Vineyard
located in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. This wine is
deep and amply endowed with dark, rich, ripe fruit. Its nose is
big and lush with aromas of fresh picked plums, red raspberries, blackberries,
allspice and toasty oak. Succulent flavors of blackberries, licorice,
robust coffee bean and mocha crème burst onto the palate. Its
impeccable structure, perfect balance, soft yet penetrating mouth-feel,
makes it a standout in the Galleron portfolio. Inviting and approachable
now, the Jaeger Merlot will ultimately last 5-10 years. (271 cases)
100% Merlot, $32.00
