NEW "GENERATION SERIES" LABEL HONORS GALLERON FAMILY HERITAGE
The new label art by illustrator Greg Hart, features Gary Galleron's grandparents, Angele and Virgile Galleron on their wedding day. The image is based upon their original 1913 wedding photo and captures the serious but spirited commitment of the young immigrant couple as they begin a new life in America.
Gary Galleron says, "The label represents my past, present and future--my grandparents were pioneers in the wine industry and my famly has a rich history in the Napa Valley. I am very proud to debut this new label that represents my family legacy."
The Galleron legacy began in 1918 when Angele and Virgile Galleron immigrated from France and purchased a vineyard in rural Napa Valley. The Galleron's have been quality winegrowers in the Napa Valley for the past 89 years and continue to produce exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon under the direction of 3rd generation grower and winemaker, Gary Galleron.
Greg Hart is an illustrator and painter. Greg's artwork has appeared in publications nationwide, including the Utne Reader and Atlanta Magazine. His influences include: Matisse, Max Ernst, Picasso, and Mark English. He resides in Charleston, SC with his wife Janet and Boston Terrier Edgar.
